On Sunday, the Academy Award-winning actress officially revealed that her daughter, Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, would be attending Spelman College
Jolie posted a photo of Zahara with a group of classmates, at what appears to be a Spelman event.
Zahara is one of three children that Jolie and her ex-husband, Oscar-winner Brad Pitt have adopted.
Zahara is an Ethiopian child orphaned by AIDS was adopted in 2005.
Spelman is one of the nation's only two historically Black colleges for women
It is part of the Atlanta University Center, a consortium of four historically Black schools
Spelman alumni include Pulitzer Prize winner Alice Walker, Former Georgia Rep. Stacey Abrams, and actress Keshia Knight Pulliam of "The Cosby Show."
